Incentive Point and Holiday Pay 2024 – 2025
January Voluntary Leaves of Absence (VLOAs)
ORD has a tentative number 51 VLOAs for the month of January.
In accordance with 2024 CBA 25.B, full month, unpaid Voluntary Leaves of Absence (VLOA) are being offered for the January 2025 bid month at all bases. The company has communicated that VLOAs for January are being offered as a result of a projected routine seasonal pulldown in flying.
The bidding window will close Saturday, December 7 at 1200 (CT). You may access the ballot in Comply365 > My Forms > AAFA > FA Voluntary Leave of Absence (VLOA). Flight Attendants awarded a VLOA will receive a CCI message.
Allocations
It is January, so the winter allocations come with very little news regarding the flying seen in Allocations.
The holiday flying is packed into the first 5 days of the month. There is a slight schedule change on January 7th.
There are 2 IPD trips for the month of January.
Staffing
The RSV percentage for January is 20.8% in ORD vs a system average of 22.1%
No new hires will be graduating in January, but we hope to see new hires sent to Chicago this upcoming year!

- 1-day: 27% in January compared to 26 % in December
- 2-day: 28% in January compared to 30% in December
- 3-day: 41% in January compared to 40% in December
- 4-day: 4% in January compared to 4% in December
- ODAN Starts per day: 19.3 in January compared to 21.8 in December
