The March staffing and allocations call was held today, February 3rd.
PBS Basics Townhall – Now PostedÂ
The PBS Basics class hosted on January 6th was a hit with people who wanted a basic understanding of PBS for line bidding. Thank you again to everyone who attended. This type of training was a success, and we plan to do this again in the future, we will communicate dates when they are scheduled.

2025 New Hires
Chicago is set to receive new hires in March. Welcome them with open arms! We hope to see a steady stream of new hires over the 2025 hiring months.
Important Dates
The Contractual Month for March is March 2 – March 31.
- March 8: Spring flying uptick
- March 9:Â Daylight Saving Time (Spring Forward)
- March 17: St. Patrick’s Day
Allocations
March is the start of our IPD uptick. With that happening, we will not see VLOAs for March.
We have 2 LHRs the majority of March.
FCO, BCN, and MAD start service at the very end of March.
For new IPD destinations, Chicago Inflight should send out a letter with pertinent information on the destination. As always, please check your tablet if this is a new destination.
Staffing
The RSV percentage for January is 18.2% in ORD vs a system average of 20.0%
Class 25-01 will have a total of 19 Flight Attendants flying in the ORD base for March. They will be considered for the published RSV numbers.
Trip Construction
- 1-day: 24% in March vs 26% in February
- 2-day: 29% in March was 28% in February
- 3-day: 43% in March was 42% in February
- 4-day: 4% in March was 4% in February
- ODAN Starts per day:Â 19.3 in March was 20.6 in February
