Reimbursements

As a reminder, reimbursements are now handled via the Comply365 Form titled “Reimbursement Form 3.0.” The form handles things such as Alterations, Global Entry/Passport Renewal, transportation, and more. All supporting documentation must be attached to the form at the time of submission, otherwise the reimbursement request could be denied. Expenses should be submitted ASAP, as anything over 60 days will not be reimbursed. Be sure to keep an eye on your AA email, as this is how they will communicate with you regarding the status of the request and if any additional information may be needed.

Banked Points for Holiday Window

Banked Points for both NOV and DEC-JAN are now visible in your MyView Attendance & Performance found on the homepage of the inflight website. If you are missing your banked points or believe there is an error when a point was applied, please reach out to the BOS Crew Attendance Manager (CAM), Malyssa Tantsi via email: [email protected]

MyView Attendance & Performance

Be sure to review your MyView periodically. You will find under Dependability/Attendance any Attendance Levels, Accrued Points and your Banked Points. There is a hyperlink available to view your banked points and their usage. Scrolling down a bit further you will find the Performance section. Should you have any events, be sure to click on the hyperlink to review any items there. If you have cause for concern, screenshot any items on that page and forward it to BOS APFA immediately.

787 Equipment Qualifications

In October 2023 the company announced that the second phase of required aircraft training would begin this month. With the start of phase 2, we are beginning to see Boston Flight Attendants be drafted for 787 equipment training. You may see the most recent list of Flight Attendants drafted for the 787 training on the Inflight website (https://aaflightservice.aa.com/private/training/). Avoid being drafted for the training by bidding for training, which is open between the first and sixth of each month for the following month’s training classes. Of the 708 Flight Attendants currently in Boston, 211 are not currently 787 qualified. The goal is to have everyone qualified by the end of the year.

iPhone EFB – iOS Update due January 16

iOS 17.2.1 will become the new FAA-required minimum on January 16, 2024, so you must update before then to be in FAA compliance. In addition, please ensure your Comply365 Version is 9.2 and your IFM Revision is 11.0. Always sync Comply 365 after completing all of these steps. Union Representation – Meetings with Management

We have been seeing a significant uptick in the number of meeting requests with CMs, including the Crew Attendance Manager (CAM). If you are called or sent a letter or email requesting a meeting, please remember you have a contractual right to representation. If you have a conversation with your manager over the phone, please ask questions and make sure you fully understand what the conversation is about and where it is leading and could land. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Devyn or myself, we will make sure to set up a time for an in-person meeting or a phone call per your request.
