Hoping everyone has been keeping warm through this chilly February. Spring will be here before we know it. New Hire INDOCS begin 03MAR and we will have lots of new faces in Boston in the coming weeks. Be sure to give them a warm welcome.
Training Duty Day
Training Duty Time is outlined in CBA Section 29.H. This includes CQ.
The combination of travel while deadheading to or from crew base to training will not exceed sixteen (16) hours without an intervening rest, except at the Flight Attendant’s option.
- The 16-hour period begins at the start of training or, if deadheading to training, at check-in for the deadhead flight.
- The 16-hour period ends at the conclusion of training or, if deadheading from training, at check-out from the deadhead flight.
CBA Reminder: April 1, 2025
Boarding Pay (CBA 3.D) and Sit Rig (CBA 11.D.6) Pay coming April 1st, 2025! April is the first month where these pay components will take effect. The first pay check you will see including Boarding Pay or Sit Rig Pay is May Mid-Month (15MAY), also known as the “true-up”, from what was worked in April.
Save your Clear Water Bottle Caps – Massachusetts Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
One of our BOS FAs has set up a clear water bottle cap collection box in the Boston Inflight Operations. These caps are used to help created braces for our Disabled Veterans. More information on the MA DAV can be found at davma.org
