Hello DFW,

Last week’s meeting with Bobbi Wells, VP Inflight, Cindi Simone, MD Labor Relations, and Paul Tronsor, MD Inflight Strategy & Support addressed several of our most pressing concerns. Topics on the agenda included but were not limited to the current state and future direction of the Performance Program and anticipated changes to the Inflight organizational structure. As part of these ongoing conversations, we emphasized the importance of ensuring that managers in the terminal are seen as a source of support and guidance—not just as enforcers of discipline.

We also raised concerns about the continued delays in processing Hotel Penalty Pay and issues submitted through Direct Connect. Flight Attendants have experienced significant wait times for resolutions, which has added unnecessary frustration to already stressful situations. Improvements in responsiveness and communication are needed. We will continue to push for streamlined processes and accountability to ensure Flight Attendants are not left waiting for their compensation.

A Special Board of Directors meeting was held this past Wednesday. Full minutes for this meeting will be published to the APFA website no later than thirty (30) business days after the conclusion of the meeting.
