7.11.25 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Personal Update from Your DFW Base President

Personal Update from Your DFW Base President
Friday, July 11, 2025
Hello DFW Flight Attendants,
I wanted to take a moment to share a personal update with all of you. Recently, while on duty, I sustained a wrist fracture and will need a few months to recover. Although this injury means I won’t be able to attend in-person meetings temporarily, I want to assure you that I remain closely connected and engaged in my role as your APFA DFW Base President.
During my recovery, our dedicated Vice President, Luis Vasquez, will take the lead. He will work alongside our talented and committed Base Council Representatives to continue advocating for you and addressing the needs of our base with professionalism and integrity.
While I may be sidelined for now, please know that I am still involved behind the scenes, providing guidance, insight, and leadership as we move forward together. I look forward to returning in full capacity as soon as I receive medical clearance.
Thank you, as always, for the incredible work you do.
In Unity,
Robin Reitz
