7.16.25 – APFA MIA Base Brief – Recent IROPs

Wednesday, July 16, 2025
Hi MIA,
It appears that the company is now finally catching up with the DFW weather meltdown over the weekend. I know that many of you flying this weekend experienced delays, cancellations, and hotel issues. To compound with the weather issues, the company is transitioning between companies who handle the Hotel/Limo desk and with that change comes the sunset of the Bizhero booking tool.
We will hold the company accountable for all the contract violations that occurred. Those could be illegal reschedules, long waits for hotel assignment, excessive wait times for scheduling/tracking and even no hotel assignments. To do that, we need to gather the data from you.
On the APFA website there is an IROP report form that allows you to enter important information regarding your specific sequence. The more information and screenshots you can provide the better! If there are instances where you and your crew were not given hotel rooms at all, please email us at [email protected], so we can address those egregious violations immediately.
Please know that your local Base Representatives along with the APFA National Team are working to address these failures with the Company. We are working to ensure that the company makes whole any Flight Attendant who had the CBA violated and to ensure that they put the correct people and systems in place to stop this from happening in the future.
In Solidarity,
Nick
