- How To Guide – I’ve created a simple, step-by-step resource to help Flight Attendants navigate apfa.org. I visit APFA.org daily to stay informed and educated about the intricacies of our job and contract.
- Your feedback is instrumental to how I lead as Vice President. Find the “LAX Suggestion Box” review video HERE!
- Missed our July Reserve Daily Bidding Class? Find the recording HERE!
- On Reserve in August? Join our Reserve Bidding Class July 31 @ 10:00 AM (PT) Click Here!
- With the support of Base President John Nikides I am representing LAX FAs in meetings with management to ensure the CBA is followed and FAs are represented strongly and fairly.
- Need a refresher on PBS Bidding? Join our PBS Bidding class August 14 @ 09:30 AM (PT) Click Here!
- I along with some of LAX’s great BCRs are currently working on a Reserve Quick Reference Guide to help you quickly access information we most often need on Reserve.
- Flight Attendants are encouraged to contact the APFA Employee Assistance Program to resolve conflict rather than requesting action from management. For Professional Standards assistance call:833- 214-2002
- Report! Report! Report! Hold AA accountable by reporting and documenting via APFA Report Forms!
- With feedback from SCMs (Senior Crew Managers), there has been a spike in FAs not acknowledging their reserve assignments after ROTA runs. Remember, if you received a sequence or standby through ROTA, you must acknowledge by 10:30 PM Home Bast Time (HBT) (unless you are flying – in this case you have until 1 hour after release). Find more information HERE!
- Find out who your new SCM (Senior Crew Manager), PCM (Performance Crew Manager) and CAM (Crew Attendance Manager) on Crew Portal(click on your name and see the drop down).
- It is important to me you always feel you have a voice. I have created a “Bookable” time if you would like to connect with me for a 1-1 chat about whatever you like. This is your time. Book a time HERE.
- Want to voice a concern but want to stay anonymous? Connect via our “LAX Suggestion Box” Click HERE.
- Need a new APFA blue lanyard and pin? Reach out to me!
- IMPORTANT – If calling or texting me, please send your full name and employee number so I can best assist you. Emails sent to [email protected] may not be received or replied to.
In Solidarity,
Cody Steele
