9.01.25 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Labor Day 2025

Labor Day 2025
Monday, September 1, 2025
DFW Flight Attendants,
This Labor Day, we take a moment to honor the strength of working people across our nation and reflect on the vital role that Flight Attendants play in the proud tradition of labor.
Labor Day is not just a holiday; it is a recognition of the struggles and sacrifices made by those who came before us. Their fight for dignity, fair treatment, and respect has laid the foundation for the protections we enjoy today. As members of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants, we carry that legacy forward. Every time we step onto an aircraft, safeguard our passengers, and support one another, we demonstrate the enduring power of unity.
With more than 7,400 Flight Attendants at DFW, our resilience, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to safety and service are unparalleled. The demands of our work are significant—long days, unpredictable schedules, and heavy responsibilities—but you meet them with courage and determination. That strength is at the heart of our Union.
On this Labor Day, we celebrate our history, honor our present, and recommit to our future. Together, in unity, we protect one another, defend our contract, and lift our voices—strong, steady, and unbreakable.
In Unity,
