Hello PHL,
Our monthly allocations call was held on Friday, October 3rd. This month is the official start of our holiday flying schedule. There will be significant changes to our IPD flying which is expected this time of year. Here is what we know…
ALLOCATIONS
Flying hours are down with the reduction in our seasonal IPD flying. Last month we were allocated 161,144 flying hours and this month we are reduced to 158,306 flying hours. That is a reduction of 2,838 hours.
NEW HIRES
There will be no new hires this month.
RESERVES
The number of projected Reserve Flight Attendants is 362 at 13.3%, down slightly from October at 14.1%. The system average is 15.0%.
STAFFING
In November, the projected line average is 77.0 hours. Please note that these figures are subject to change based on bidding behaviors.
VOLUNTARY LEAVES OF ABSENCE (VLOAs)
There will be no VLOA’s for the month of November.
SEQUENCE STATISTICSÂ
ODANs
ODANs in PHL took quite a hit for November. BOS, BDL, and PVD are available to bid.
IPD
There are significant changes to or IPD schedule this month. Please check the sequences before bidding to look for changes in flight times and/or RON length. For example…
- 48+ hour RON – ZRH 25th & 26th NOV
- 50+hour RON – FCO 25th & 26th NOV
- 50+hour RON – CDG 25th & 26th NOV
- 49+hour RON  – BCN 25th & 26th NOV
- 49+hour RON – DUB 25th & 26th NOV
- 48+hour RON  – AMS 3rd,10th, 25th, 26th NOV
- 48+hour RON – LIS  25th & 26th NOV
- 48+hour RON- ATH 16th NOV
DOH will continue to be staffed with 10 FAs.
The 787-9P will be operating to LHR only. Check your sequences.
DOMESTIC WIDEBODY FLYINGWe have several 1, 2, and 3-day sequences available to bid.
PIT SATELLITE
PIT has 4,855 hours down from 4,873 in October. The loss is 18 hours.
Please remember that when you are awarded a satellite trip, it is your responsibility to get to PIT to start the trip and get home when the trip ends.The Company does NOT provide deadheads to and from PIT.
HOLIDAY PAY (CBA 3.K.1)
In addition to all other compensation, a Flight Attendant working on a sequence or serving  Reserve, Standby duty, which touches a Holiday Day(s) or Incentive Day, shall be paid as follows:
1. Holiday Day(s):  The days below shall be designated as Holiday Day(s).  Any flying performed on a designated Holiday Day(s) including a Reschedule (Rescheduled flying performed on a Holiday Day(s) for a sequence which did not originally touch the Holiday Day(s)), shall pay a premium of one hundred percent (100%) over the Flight Attendant’s base hourly rate (Holiday Day(s) premium is paid above guarantee for Reserves) for hours flown (based on the greater of scheduled or actual hours flown).  If either the departure time of the flight (based on local station time) or the arrival time of the flight (based on local station time) touches or was scheduled to touch the actual holiday, Holiday Day pay would apply for the entire flight segment flown.

c. Sunday following Thanksgiving Day
d. Monday following Thanksgiving Day
e. December 24/Christmas Eve
f. December 25/Christmas Day
g. December 26/the day following Christmas Day
h. December 31/New Year’s Eve
i. January 1/New Year’s Day
GENERAL REMINDERS
- Please remember that daylight saving time ends on 02NOV25.
- Election Day is 04NOV25.
- Thanksgiving is Thursday, 27NOV25. Commuters, check for any reduction in the flight schedule on Thanksgiving and the day after!
