Hello DFW Flight Attendants,

This week we held our monthly meeting with DFW management, where we continued to address issues impacting our base. We meet with leadership every month to advocate on your behalf, bring forward your concerns, and push for improvements that support our operation and quality of life.

Here are the key updates:

🚗 Parking Decals

Beginning next week, parking decals will be available at Terminal A and Terminal C. We are pleased with this change from previous years, as it will make the process much easier for our Flight Attendants. Having two locations provides more flexibility and convenience, giving our members better access to obtain their decals.

😴 Quiet & Sleeping Areas

We’re continuing discussions with management regarding improvements to the quiet/sleeping areas in the lounges. Ensuring these spaces remain accessible and functional—especially during IROPS—remains a priority.

⚠️ IROPS Support Improvements

Over the past few months, we’ve seen real progress with management support during IROPS. DFW management has committed to having staff available during disruptions, and they have been providing basic amenities such as snacks, water, and access to quiet areas. This effort is the result of ongoing collaboration between APFA DFW leadership and DFW management.

🛫 January VLOAs

VLOAs will be offered in January. The company offers these leaves from time to time, and we welcome your feedback for future discussions as we advocate for an increase of these opportunities for our base. Please keep in mind that additional VLOAs would most likely result in an increase of the monthly line average.
