Hello PHL,
We had our monthly allocations call on Saturday, January 3rd. The reserve numbers are higher than last year. But we do have approximately 17,000 more block hours than last year. Please note the schedule change on 12FEB.
ALLOCATIONS
Flying hours are slightly up this month over last month. Last month, we were allocated 157,668 flying hours and this month we have slightly increased to 157,844 hours. This month last year was 140,711.
NEW HIRES
There will be no New Hire Flight Attendants for February.
RESERVES
The number of projected Reserve Flight Attendants is slightly down this month at 406 or 15.2%, compared to January at 16.0%. The system average is 17.7%.
STAFFING
In February, the opening projected line average is 77.1 hours. That stays consistent across all bases, and is consistent with the system-wide line average of 77.2. Please note that these figures are subject to change based on bidding behaviors.

VOLUNTARY LEAVES OF ABSENCE (VLOAs)
We were awarded 30 VLOAs for February!
SEQUENCE STATISTICS

ODANs
ODANs are bouncing back with a few more this month. BOS, BNA, CLE, JAX, AND PVD are available to bid.
IPD
Interesting month:
- DOH remains staffed with 10 F/As.
- CDG– Has a 4-day trip on the following dates: 01, 08, 15, 22.
- BCN– Has a 4-day trip on the following dates: 01, 08, 15.
- AMS– Has a 4-day trip on the following dates: 02, 04, 09, 11, 16, 18, 23.
- ZRH– Has a 5-day(!) trip on 02 and 09.
- LIS– 02FEB, will DH to MAD, overnight, DH to LIS, overnight, work home.
- FCO– 10FEB, will DH to LHR, overnight, DH to FCO, overnight, work home.
NIPD
There are a couple exciting layovers added to the list this month. Layovers are in UIO, SJO, SJU, PUJ, POS, KIN, SDQ, STX, CUN, MEX, GUA, MDE, BDA, GCM, CUR, BGI, PVR, and BZE
DOMESTIC WIDEBODY FLYINGThis month we have an increase in DFW turns with a few overnights sprinkled in and one PHX turn.
PIT SATELLITE
Hours are slightly down in PIT. Hours dropped to 4,781 from 4,831 in January. A loss of 50 hours.
Note: Please remember that when you are awarded a satellite trip, it is your responsibility to get to PIT to start the trip and get home when the trip ends. The Company does NOT provide deadheads to and from PIT.
EFB COMPLIANCE
Please remember to check for updates at the beginning of every trip. System updates, Comply updates, and synced.
**PHL CREW ROOM RENOVATIONS**
We have been informed that the “B16” Crew Room will be CLOSED January 26 – January 30 for remodeling.
Once “B” has been completed, the “A17” Crew Room will be CLOSED March 2 – March 6.
*YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR BAGS OR ANY OF THE ITEMS IN YOUR BAGS DURING THE TIME OF THE RENOVATION! THIS INCLUDES THE REFRIGERATORS! It is imperative that you plan accordingly!
VACATION BIDDING
Vacation bidding is upon us. Please familiarize yourself with the process and the rules to best augment your schedule…especially if on reserve.
GENERAL REMINDERS
- You may contact us directly in PHL any time by text or phone call to 215-360-3115. There are 4-5 BCR’s monitoring that line and we are quick to respond if not in a meeting. Using the base contact form on APFA.org does take a bit longer to get to us. If you are scheduling a meeting with management, then please notify us ASAP. Same day requests are difficult to accommodate due to the high volume of meetings we have scheduled.
