2.01.26 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Notice of Dispute (Storm Impacts)

Notice of Dispute (Storm Impacts)
Sunday, February 1, 2026
Dear DFW Flight Attendants,
Your Base Leadership is preparing a Base Notice of Dispute (NOD) regarding storm-driven operational failures. While we are ready to move forward, we are intentionally allowing the immediate aftermath of Winter Storm Gianna to fully unfold so we can incorporate all recent storms, disruptions, and systemic failures into one comprehensive filing.
Our goal is to ensure the record accurately reflects the full scope of what Flight Attendants have endured—missed hotels, broken sequences, communication failures, and ongoing operational breakdowns—so nothing is overlooked or minimized.
Once this storm cycle concludes, we will move forward with a DFW filing that captures the totality of these events and supports any escalation warranted at the national level.
We appreciate your patience and will continue to keep you informed.
Respectfully,
Robin Reitz
