2.02.26 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Black History Month

Monday, February 2, 2026
Dear DFW Flight Attendants,
February is Black History Month—a time to celebrate the rich history, culture, and enduring contributions of Black Americans to our country, the labor movement, and the aviation industry.
Our Union is strengthened by the many cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences within our workforce. Among them, the contributions of Black Americans have played a meaningful and lasting role—through leadership, advocacy, service, and a deep commitment to one another. These contributions continue to shape our profession and strengthen the collective voice of our members.
As we recognize Black History Month, we do so together—honoring the past, celebrating the present, and moving forward in unity.
Respectfully,
Robin Reitz
