2.23.26 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Latest Operational Update Regarding Mexico Flying

Operational Update Regarding Mexico Flying
Monday, February 23, 2026
Dear DFW,
Here is the latest operational update regarding Mexico flying:
- PVR (Puerto Vallarta): Today’s operation has been canceled due to local transportation issues.
- GDL (Guadalajara): One DFW–GDL–DFW turn (AA3267) operated today.
Crews on the ground in both locations remain in contact with AA. GDL crews received positive space on today’s turn. In PVR, hotel stays have been extended, and crews are to be prioritized for positive space once operations resume.
While management states most areas of Mexico are operating normally, concerns remain in these specific locations. APFA DFW will continue to monitor developments and raise safety and service concerns where conditions warrant.
Your safety matters. We will keep you informed as updates become available.
Respectfully,
Robin & Luis
