3.11.26 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Bring Back the Red. Stand United.

Bring Back the Red. Stand United.

Wednesday, March 11, 2026

Dear APFA DFW Flight Attendants,

On February 9, 2026, the APFA Board of Directors unanimously issued a Vote of No Confidence in CEO Robert Isom. This action followed years of declining financial performance, ongoing operational failures, and leadership decisions that have consistently placed the burden of those failures on frontline employees while executives have avoided meaningful accountability.

Our profession and our airline deserve stronger leadership and a clear commitment to those who keep this operation running every day.

On February 12, 2026, Flight Attendants made their voices heard. Union leaders, Members, and supporters stood shoulder to shoulder outside American Airlines Headquarters to demand accountability and meaningful change in leadership. The demonstration reflected the growing frustration among Flight Attendants who have continued to deliver exceptional service to our passengers despite increasing challenges and ongoing instability within the operation.

That day showed the strength of our unity and the power of our collective voice.

Now, we ask you to take the next step.

Bring back the red. Stand united.

During our contract campaign, the red APFA pin and the red “We Are Ready” lanyard became powerful symbols of solidarity across our airline. When Flight Attendants wore red, it sent a clear and unmistakable message to management, passengers, and the public that we stand together.

Those moments demonstrated what can be accomplished when Flight Attendants move in unity with a shared purpose.

Starting now, we encourage all Flight Attendants to once again wear their red APFA pin proudly while on duty. While it may seem like a small gesture, it carries significant meaning. It represents solidarity, professionalism, and a collective commitment to protecting our careers, strengthening our profession, and advocating for the future of our airline.

Stand Together for the Future of Our Airline Hotline

Visible unity matters. It reminds management that Flight Attendants remain engaged, organized, and committed to ensuring that our voices are heard.

Bring back the red. Stand united.

Together, we continue to advocate for the respect, leadership, and accountability that Flight Attendants and all frontline employees deserve.

Respectfully,

Robin & Luis
