Phoenix Employee Parking Program Update #4

As we approach the end of the Parking Discount Blackout Dates, the City of Phoenix has reviewed updated capacity forecasts for the Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 parking garages. Based on these projections, the City will be offering a limited-time employee parking incentive. This initiative is intended not only to manage parking availability effectively, but also to provide support to our colleagues across the airport community—specifically our PHX-based TSA Agents.

On March 13, TSA employees experienced a significant hardship when they received a $0.00 paycheck due to ongoing federal payroll issues. In response, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has established a donation center and is asking both airport employees and the traveling public to contribute and assist those impacted during this time.

We encourage anyone who is able to consider supporting this effort. Whether through donations or spreading awareness, even small contributions can make a meaningful difference for our TSA partners who play a critical role in keeping our operation safe and running smoothly.

Your generosity can make a meaningful difference for TSA Agents currently working without pay—and as a thank you, you will receive a one-day parking validation.

This special employee parking incentive is valid Monday, March 23, and Tuesday, March 24 only. The validation is good for one day of parking in either the Terminal 3 or Terminal 4 garage and may not be combined with any other offers or discounts.

How It Works

1. Park in the Terminal 3 or Terminal 4 garage and pull a ticket as usual.
2. During your shift, bring a qualifying donation to Compassion Corner.
3. Donation Center staff will verify your contribution and provide a parking validation ticket.
4. Use the validation ticket when exiting the garage.

Requested Donation Items

• Non-perishable, pre-packaged food
• Gift cards ($20 or less) for gas or groceries (Fry’s, Walmart, Costco, QuikTrip, etc.)
  • Please note: generic Visa, Amex, or Mastercard gift cards are not accepted
• Hygiene products and baby essentials (diapers, wipes, formula, etc.)

Cash donations cannot be accepted.

Donation Drop-Off Location

Compassion Corner
Terminal 4, pre-security (near the B Checkpoint elevator bank)
Open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Parking for donation drop-off will be validated.

Q1: If I donate and receive a validation, can I use the 1-day validation for a multi-day trip?
A: Yes. The validation will cover one day of parking (a $33 value). Any additional days will be charged at the full rate of $33 per day. The validation cannot be combined with any other discounts or parking programs.

Q2: Can I save the validation for a future date?
A: No. The validation is only valid on the same day the qualifying donation is made.
