Revision 103 of my California State Disability Packet is now available!
🚨 Important Update:
🔴 Revision 103 officially replaces ALL previous versions — please make sure you are referencing the latest document.
🧾 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
You may qualify for State Disability benefits if you meet the following conditions:
🟢 Work Status
- You are unable to perform your regular job for at least 8 days
💰 Income Impact
- You have lost wages or expect to lose wages due to your disability
👩💼 Employment
- You were employed at the time your disability began
📊 Earnings Requirement
- You earned at least $300 with State Disability Insurance (SDI)deductions taken from your paycheck
📍 LOCATION-BASED ELIGIBILITY
🟢 Eligible:
- Employees working in the state of California
(✔️ Residency does NOT matter)
✈️ Example:
A flight attendant based at LAX who commutes from Denver IS eligible
🔴 Not Eligible:
- Employees working outside of California, even if they live in California
✈️ Example:
A flight attendant living in Los Angeles but flying out of JFK is NOT eligible
