Severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes are expected across portions of the country from Dallas to Chicago through Friday, May 22.

Are you canceled or rescheduled?

Our rescheduling language is broken down into different scenarios, including:

• Prior to Report: Full sequence cancellation
• Prior to Report: The first leg(s) of your trip has cancelled, and your sequence has a deadhead or live segments remaining.
• Prior to Report: First segment(s) cancelled, no notification from crew scheduling.
• After Report but Prior to Origination: Sequence changes (prior to first flight).
• After Origination: Sequence changes.
• Last Sequence/ Last Series of Sequences for the month.

As a reminder, the company has implemented ECS notifications for reschedules for Flight Attendants who have had a disruption to their current sequence after report but prior to origination (CBA 10.J.3.d), and after origination (CBA 10.J.4.c).  More detailed information on Rescheduling in ECS can be found by clicking here.

To view your ECS notifications during IROPs:

• Open the ECS app on your EFB or personal device
• Go to the Operational tab in the messaging list
•  Notifications for your trip will be listed in chronological order with newest on top
• With ECS notifications, the company is still required to notify you of the repair of the sequence within the applicable 3 or 4 hours
• Once your sequence has been repaired, you will receive a notification of the repair including the flight number, date, and city pairs
• You may click on “Details” at the top of the message to expand and show the time stamp of when the message was sent
