6.01.26 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Celebrating Pride Month

Monday, June 1, 2026
June is recognized as Pride Month, a time to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions, achievements, and history of LGBTQ+ individuals within our profession, our Union, and our communities.
As Flight Attendants, we work alongside colleagues from every background, culture, faith, and life experience. The strength of our profession has always been rooted in mutual respect, professionalism, and the understanding that every Member deserves dignity in the workplace.
At DFW, our commitment remains simple: represent every Member fairly, enforce the Contract equally, and ensure all Flight Attendants have access to the support, advocacy, and representation they deserve. Regardless of background or personal identity, every Member is entitled to a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Pride Month serves as a reminder that our Union is strongest when we stand together in support of one another. While we may come from different walks of life, we share common goals: safe working conditions, contractual protections, professional respect, and a stronger future for our profession.
Respectfully,
Robin & Luis
