Today, APFA Base Representatives met with the Company during the monthly staffing review to discuss staffing allocations, Reserve utilization, and operational planning for the upcoming bid month. During the meeting, Union leadership carefully reviewed projected flying, staffing levels, operational forecasts, and the expected impact on Flight Attendants throughout the system.

These discussions play an important role in shaping the monthly schedule and directly influence Reserve coverage, staffing levels, scheduling flexibility, workload, and overall quality of life for our members. We encourage all PHX Flight Attendants to review this Base Brief and contact your Base Representatives with any questions, concerns, or feedback.

PHX Base Statistics for August 2026

• One (1) Month On/ Three (3) Months off Reserve Rotation: 1154
• One (1) Month On/ One (1) Month off Reserve Rotation: 186
• Straight Reserve (Two (2) Years): 74

Senior Bump to Reserve Duty – (CBA 12.A.3.c.)

Please remember that if you decide to switch from Lineholder to Reserve while the LRD tool is open from the 3rd to the 7th, you will not meet your Reserve rotation requirements if you have more than three (3) days of vacation. You will still be subject to Reserve duty in the following months.
