CMAP Expands to DFW and ORD on July 12th

Friday, July 10, 2026

The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Crewmember Access Point (CMAP) program will continue its phased rollout beginning the week of July 12th, with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) joining the growing list of participating airports. Flight Attendants who will operate through DFW or ORD and wish to participate in CMAP should complete the voluntary opt-in process through AA’s CMAP Portal before arriving at the airport.

Before You Use CMAP

  • Participation in CMAP is voluntary; however, TSA requires eligible crewmembers to complete the consent process through the American Airlines CMAP Portal before using the program. Visit AA’s CMAP Portal.
  • After opting in, allow up to one business day for your crewmember identification information to be validated. You cannot opt in while standing in line at a CMAP access point, as immediate activation is not possible.
  • Known Crewmember (KCM) procedures remain in effect until CMAP is activated at your airport. Continue using KCM until your location transitions to CMAP.

Important Information for Foreign Passport Holders

Flight Attendants who use a foreign passport must complete one additional step before CMAP can be activated.

  • If you have already entered the United States through Customs using your foreign passport, your identity has already been validated by TSA. After completing the CMAP opt-in process, no additional activation steps are required.
  • If you have not previously entered the United States using your foreign passport, you must complete at least one U.S. entry after opting in. CMAP will activate automatically once TSA records that entry.
  • Once activated, CMAP will serve as your access point to expedited security screening at participating airports.

Airports Scheduled to Launch the Week of July 12th

  • Portland International Airport (PDX)
  • Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM)
  • Ontario International Airport (ONT)
  • Long Beach Airport (LGB)
  • Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)
  • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
  • Dallas Love Field (DAL)
  • Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)

TSA has advised that activation dates remain subject to change.
