7.10.26 – Save the Date: August 25th Reserve Training
APFA’s National Contract and Scheduling Departments will conduct a Reserve training session for all Flight Attendants on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 1 pm – 2 pm CT. This training will be a hybrid in-person and virtual event. There will be a limited number of slots to attend in-person
7.08.26 – ROTA/ROTD Acknowledgement Receipts in ECS
We continue to receive reports of reserve acknowledgement issues. In some cases, Reserve Flight Attendants are properly acknowledging assignments in Crew Portal, but are later assessed a missed trip because the acknowledgement was not successfully recorded.
7.03.26 – Unpaid VLOAs for August 2026
In accordance with CBA 25.B, full month, unpaid Voluntary Leaves of Absence (VLOAs) are being offered for the August 2026 bid month. Bidding for August 2026 full month, unpaid VLOAs opened today, Friday, July 3, at 1200 (CT).

6.18.26 – Coverage Needed (CN) Dates – July 2026
Coverage Needed (CN) is a term applied to any day in a bid month when not enough Flight Attendants bid in PBS to fly on that day. PBS will award as many Flight Attendants as possible to be off on a particular day.
