Troubleshooting Logging In
Forgot your password? Don't have access to your email address on file anymore? Not sure if you've ever logged in or if you even have an account? Use these tips to solve common issues with logging in.
Use the 'Forgot Password' Link
— Click on the 'login button' and that will bring you to the login screen
— There's a link for 'forgot password'
— Enter your employee ID number (don't add any zeros in front)
— You'll receive an email to your personal email on file with APFA with a link to reset your password.
If you do not receive a password reset email:
Our new login system requires that you have a Personal Email address on file with APFA. If you haven't received a reset email, it is possible that your account does not yet have a Personal Email set or has an outdated email that you no longer use. In this case please go to apfa.org/email to add or update your Personal Email.
— Fill out your First and Last Names as they appear on your APFA Account
— Fill out your Personal Email address
— Fill out your Employee ID Number
— Fill out your Date of Birth and click 'Reset Email'If we didn't have a Personal Email on file for you, you will get an email with a link to set your password.
If you are just updating your email, you will not receive a password reset email. If you also need to reset your password after updating your email, please use the 'forgot password' link on the login form.
If you are unable to reset using the form, you will need to contact the APFA Membership Department.
Login Error
If you receive an "Invalid State" error it is likely due to a conflicting session caused by multiple open windows or tabs. Please close all windows and try again, or try with and Incognito/Private window.
