I just wanted to put my 2 cents worth in and say, as a former business owner of 2 business I could never do to my employees what upper management is doing with these unheard of bonuses. We gave up 30% of our pay salary, and asked what can we do more to help reduce our spending. And what do they do. Take everything that we gave up and then some. They took away my pride in the company.
If the crooks at upper management can sleep at night with out a guilty thought of knowing how they screwed us all, then our next contract must read; We get our 30% back which is rightfully ours plus a 10% increase in pay!!! It's only fair. It's the "RIGHT" thing to do.
I don't know about you but I am tired of flying 125 plus hours. My doctor says my blood pressure is high and would like to see me fly less. But for now, that is not an option. With our ever shrinking layover time and as I rotate onto reserve and make next to nothing on every 4th month, I must fly high time to make up the loss for that one month of reserve
I hope we can all pull together to get our 30% pay cut back and at least a 10% pay raise. IT'S OUR TURN NOW!
