Just eight months ago, the company attempted to implement the SkyMall On Board Sales program. It is APFA’s position that any form of a Flight Attendant’s pay or work rules may not be unilaterally implemented. The membership answered the call to action by returning the HI6 announcing the program with "Negotiate It!" written across the message.

The company heard us and stopped that program.

They are now attempting to do it again by asking us to sell pillows and blankets. APFA President Laura Glading sent a letter to the company stating, again, our position.

And we will, again, ask all Flight Attendants to send the HI6 message stamped with ëNegotiate It!í to their Flight Service Manager (FSM) by mail or hand delivery.
