September 2020 Allocations
For the month of September, all bases will see a reduction in flying hours. This is not unusual, as we typically see a decrease at this time of year. Our total flying hours for PHX are 40,042 ( a decrease of 4,659 from August). 106 PVLOA’s were taken for the September bid month. Our total active headcount for September is 1287. We are expected to have 593 Lineholders and 156 Reserves for the September bid month. The Lineholder/Reserve Designator (LRD) to preference either Lineholder or “Senior Bumping” onto Reserve will close on Tuesday, August 11th at Noon (CDT).
The expected line average for PHX will be 76.00 hours. Our flying has seen an increase in 1 and 2 day flying. We are happy to see the return of ODANs for the PHX base in September. You will notice an increase in scheduled legs and duty days on the 3-day pairings, and we continue to ask for improvement in that area.
