New Year, New Contract

The latest Negotiations Update was yet another blow from American Airlines, Flight Service, and their Labor Relations Team. APFA’s proposals center around flexibility enhancements to improve our work/life balance, and our expectations are that management will bargain in good faith. This airline continues to be successful because of OUR efforts, OUR dedication, and OUR sacrifices during the pandemic and beyond.

We know it is frustrating still operating under a contract that became amendable at the end of 2019. We are READY for improvements to our compensation, and work rules. We ask that you join us, TAKE A STAND, and show American Airlines that we are UNITED! Join the Contract Action Team and receive updates on future events regarding negotiations and future action items and activities. Together we can work to bolster our negotiations.

We had an incredible turnout at the November 15th picket in PHL and across the system and made some real noise. We were featured on CBS Philadelphia News. During our event, managers noticed, customers noticed, coworkers noticed, local politicians noticed, and most importantly American Airlines noticed. Let’s give them more to notice!
