2.12.25 – 2025 Base Representative Elections

Wednesday, February 12, 2025
Ballot packages for the 2025 Base Representative Elections were mailed today, February 12, 2025, to members based in CLT, DCA, DFW, LAX, LGA, MIA, PHL, and PHX as of March 2025. Ballot packages were sent to the addresses on file with APFA. Ballots must be received in the designated Post Office Box no later than March 14, 2025, at 10:00 am (CT).
Ballot packages for this election were mailed from the New York area. When conducting elections by paper and mail, it is important to remember that we must rely on USPS for mail delivery. Unfortunately, unforeseen delays and issues can arise that are beyond our control.
This week, more than 20 states will be affected by Winter Storm Iliana, which will impact the Plains, Midwest, Great Lakes, and Northeast regions. As a result, further delays in USPS deliveries are expected over the coming days. Please allow up to 7-10 days for your ballot package to arrive.
Duplicate Ballots
If you do not receive your ballot package, or you need a duplicate, please immediately request a duplicate ballot package by contacting the YesElections Help Desk at (855) 612-4697 or [email protected]. The Help Desk is available to assist 24/7.
The last day to request a duplicate ballot is on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 12:00pm (CT). The NBC does not advise members to wait until this date, as you may not have enough time to receive your ballot and mail it back.
Candidate Booklets
As a reminder Candidate Booklets are available on the “Union Elections” page on the APFA website. Paper candidate booklets are no longer provided in the mail with your ballot. Instead, a QR code/link will be included in your ballot package on the Voting Notice/Instructions page. You may also request a printed copy be mailed to you by clicking here.
