APFA has secured a Letter of Agreement (LOA) related to the reserve acknowledgment issues. The issues occurred from October 1st through November 18th, 2025, and were resolved by November 19th, 2025.

1.14.25 – COVID-19 Attendance and Leave Policies Update

Starting tomorrow, January 15, 2025, the Company is returning to its pre-pandemic attendance. This update affects the process for requesting Medical Leaves of Absence (MLOA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leaves.

With great sadness, we inform you of the passing of Phoenix-based Flight Attendant Celinda Levno while on layover in Denver. Celinda began her career with America West in 1989.

1.12.25 – 2025-26 Annual Vacation Buyback Closes Tomorrow

The 2025-26 Annual Vacation Buyback process closes tomorrow, January 13, at 12:00 PM (CT). The awards will be posted no later than Friday January 17 at 12:00 PM (CT).

The Third Quarter 2024 APFA Executive Committee Meeting was held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at APFA Headquarters in Euless, Texas. In accordance with the APFA Policy Manual, the official minutes are now available on APFA.org.

This is a reminder that the National Ballot Committee (NBC) has posted the Willingness-to-Serve (WTS) for the Base Representative positions of Base President, Base Vice President, and Base Council Rep (BCR)

The wildfires spreading across Southern California are the most destructive the region has ever experienced. As of this writing, the Palisades fire, west of Los Angeles, has burned 18 square miles

1.08.25 – Rescheduling Reminders: Winter Storm Cora | Training Cancelled Jan. 8 – 10

A major winter storm is expected to blanket parts of the South with snow and ice in the coming days. This weather event may lead to increased commuting and travel difficulties from Texas to the Carolinas and Virginia, impacting cities such as Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta, among others.

1.06.25 – 2025-26 Annual Vacation Buyback Now Open

The Annual Vacation Buyback process is now open. It will close on Monday, January 13 at 12:00 PM (CT). In accordance with 2024 CBA Section 8.F., Flight Attendants have the option to buyback a portion or all vacation days

Thirteen states are under a winter storm watch/warning as Winter Storm Blair moves across the country, producing multiple days of heavy snow, ice and potentially record-setting low temperatures in the midwest, south, and east.

Early this morning, a suspect drove a pickup truck around barricades and through a crowd of holiday revelers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. As of this writing, 10 people were killed and dozens more injured.
