Critical Periods and Banked Points

The company’s current Attendance Policy includes three critical periods throughout the year. The upcoming dates are as follows:

• Thanksgiving: the Wednesday prior through the Sunday after Thanksgiving (November 26, 2025 – November 30, 2025).
• Christmas: December 22, 2025 – January 3, 2026.
• July 1 – 7, 2026.

These critical periods provide an opportunity to earn “banked points” which may be used to reduce a future dependability event. You may earn up to one banked point per critical period.

To qualify for a banked point, Flight Attendants must work all operational assignments during the critical period (e.g. sequences, standbys, RAPs, and special assignments). In addition, Flight Attendants must have no absences or removals on days during the critical period (e.g. sick, FMLA, Jury Duty, Military, Personal, Bereavement, etc.).
