Contract Implementation Update #25:

Update to Reserve RAP Processing

For the May contractual month, CBA Section 12.K.1.g has been implemented early (targeted for DOS + 12 months). CBA 12.K.1.g details the order of award/assignment in Daily (ROTD) processing for a sequence legal for multiple RAPs. The change to this section contains an improvement in assignment on Reserve intending to further protect Reserve flex days when possible as well as ETB sequences picked up on days off.

Example Scenario:

• FA Mike is on RAP C, available for one day, and then has a Flex Day.
• FA Kelly is on RAP D, available for two days, and already assigned a one-day trip for tomorrow via ROTA.

Prior to May 2: FA Mike would be assigned a two-day trip, even if it goes into their Flex Day.

May 2 and after: That same trip would go to FA Kelly (by dropping their future assignment) to avoid assigning FA Mike into their Flex Day.
