The APFA Annual Board of Directors Convention will be held March 26-27, 2025, at the Westin Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. All members in good standing are invited to attend the open portions of the meeting, which are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 26, at 9:00 am (CT).

Special Guest Speaker: Former Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su

Former Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su will be addressing our convention on Thursday, March 27, at 3:30 PM CT. She will be joined by Bart Sheard, Senior Advisor to the Labor Secretary, for a discussion on our recent collective bargaining victory and the challenges ahead.

Julie Su played a critical role—alongside former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and National Mediation Board Member Linda Puchala—in pushing American Airlines management toward a deal that secured retroactive pay, boarding pay, and the preservation of our industry-leading pay protections. Their leadership ensured that management’s attempts to weaken our hard-earned pay protections were defeated, and helped move our contract across the finish line.

APFA Awards Ceremony: Thursday, March 27

Join us on Thursday, March 27, at 6:00 PM CT at the Westin Las Colinas for our Awards Ceremony as we present the Distinguished Service Award to Former IOD Chair Bellia Peckson and the Edward M. Kennedy Award to Former Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su.

All members are invited to attend all open portions of the Convention, including the Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening. We encourage you to be part of this special event as we recognize those who have made a lasting impact on our profession.
