PBS Updates
New Properties to Bid Speaker Pairings
When bidding for June, you will now have the ability to bid using the property Prefer Language (CBA 10.D.13.d.#15). This new property will allow you to bid for pairings requiring a specific language.

Charter Bidding
Charters have also been updated to reflect correct report times when boarding is required elsewhere other than a terminal gate (e.g. FBO). These sequences have a two-hour report time for a duty period starting with a leg that is not scheduled to board at a gate (CBA 18.E).
With this change, PBS will now award these charter sequences with legal rest requirements. The additional one hour and fifteen minutes (1:15) of pay and credit will not be reflected in PBS. This time will be reflected on your HI1 after you have completed the sequence.
Deadhead Self-Book
We are aware of issues with the self-book tool, specifically regarding pass class when booking. When self-booking a front-end deadhead from your commuter city or co-terminal airport (CBA 16.G), or a back-end deadhead to different co-terminal (CBA 16.H.4.a), some Flight Attendants may be booked as an A3 without a seat assignment. In this circumstance, promptly contact Crew Scheduling/Tracking to have your booking changed to an A1 pass class to ensure your must ride status. Your PNR will be updated and a seat will be assigned (if a seat is available). The company is working on correcting the self-book tool to properly book A1 pass classification and we will update you on the status of this fix.
As a reminder, if your alternate front-end deadhead at origination delays or cancels, contact Crew Scheduling. You may be offered the ability to split onto your sequence or alternate flying which can be accepted at the Flight Attendant’s option (CBA 16.G.17). If the offer of alternate flying or being split onto your sequence is accepted, you will be pay protected in accordance with CBA 10.J.10.
CBAs Now Available From Any Base
Printed copies of the 2024 CBA provided in accordance with CBA 32.A may now be picked up from any crew base where CBAs are available. Previously, a Flight Attendant could only pick up a copy from their own base. Due to the limited availability, you may only receive and sign for one copy. If you have already received a printed copy, you will not be able to obtain a second from the company provided allotment.
