Standby Forecast Report
CBA 12.Q.8

A new report titled Standby Forecast was added to Crew Portal > Reserves on the evening of August 13th, 2025. This report is the implementation of CBA 12.Q.8, which will be implemented early (targeted implementation was scheduled for DOS + 12, or October 2025).

12.Q.8 requires the company to post all Standby shifts with:

• Start time
• Base
• Duration
• Airport and terminal
• Minimum days of availability required
• How many Reserves are anticipated for each Standby shift.

The report will be posted no later than noon HBT the day prior to the scheduled shift.

This template matches the Specific Standby bidding interface that was implemented and will help to provide Reserves information prior to bidding in ROTA for the next day.

While this report will always be available to view, changes may be made up to noon HBT for the next day’s shifts. Any new or updated shifts will be highlighted yellow to bring attention that the shift was modified in some way. All updates to the Standby Forecast will immediately update when Crew Scheduling modifies the Standby.

Should irregular events cause Scheduling to anticipate not filling a certain Standby shift, this information will be provided on a banner on the Standby Forecast.

Other new reports required in CBA 12.Q will be implemented no later than October 2025. We will have more information on those soon.
