Accolade Services Will Be Discontinued Effective October 1st

Accolade is an independent health benefits navigator that American Airlines has partnered with to help you navigate the healthcare system, make informed health decisions, and understand your health benefits in a personalized way. They ensure that you are aware of programs like StayWell Rx, which can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket costs for certain prescriptions and supplies related to diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.

Starting October 1, 2025, if you need assistance with your health benefits, you will no longer contact Accolade. Instead, you will reach out directly to your health benefits administrator, which will be either BlueCross BlueShield or UMR, depending on your state of residence.

No action is required from you during this transition. Your plan design, provider network, and any prior authorizations will remain unchanged.

Please keep an eye on your mailbox for new ID cards arriving this month. Beginning on October 1, you will need to use new contact information, including a new phone number and a different web portal, when seeking assistance with your health benefits.

If you or a covered dependent are currently enrolled in case management for a serious or chronic condition, care advisors from BlueCross BlueShield or UMR will contact you directly at the beginning of October to ensure a smooth transition from Accolade. Keep an eye on your phone and mailbox for more information.

You can continue to contact Accolade at 833-FIND-WAY for questions regarding historical information. To save any chats or files, please log in to the Accolade app or portal before October 1, 2025, and download the information you wish to keep. Accolade will strive to close as many tickets as possible before October 1. After that date, please direct any health benefits questions to your administrator.
