With profound sadness, we inform you of the loss of Mark Gentile, Charlotte-based Flight Attendant and APFA Regional Representative. Mark’s career in aviation began in 1978 with Allegheny/ USAir in Pittsburgh, PA. Over the years, he served in numerous leadership roles, including AFA-CWA LEC Base President in Pittsburgh, AFA-CWA MEC Vice President, and most recently, as one of seven APFA Regional Representatives advocating for Flight Attendants through the grievance process.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mark’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. His leadership and unwavering dedication to our Membership touched many lives, and his loss will be deeply felt.
