ECS Messaging Cutover

As the rollout of the Electronic Communication System (ECS) continues, all ONE courtesy messages except ETB have transitioned to ECS.

  • As of June 10th, 2025, TTS/UBL transactions and operational notifications transitioned to ECS.
  • As of June 25th, 2025, courtesy notifications regarding ROTA and ROTD transitioned to ECS.
  • Beginning with the August LRD opening on July 3rd, 2025, LRD notifications will transition to ECS. The LRD notification is to verify that you’ve toggled in LRD to attempt to change your projected status. Make sure to check in PBS on the 10th at noon for your bidding status after toggling.

There are no process changes for Reserve acknowledgment or notification of award/assignment. One enhancement brought by ECS is the ability to see the time you acknowledged a ROTA or ROTD award/assignment. Go to ECS > ROTA/ROTD or All messages > click the message notifying you have been scheduled an assignment > click Details, and the Reminders Stopped line is the time you acknowledged. On July 1st, 2025, this message has been changed from Reminders Stopped to Acknowledged by Flight Attendant.

Please ensure that your notification preferences are updated in ECS to avoid any disruption to messages you are accustomed to receiving. These messages are considered “required,” meaning that they will be delivered to your ECS Inbox with push notifications to your EFB regardless of any other preferences for notification you opt-in to. Remember that you must select your preferred time of notification for Sign-in Reminder and Gate Change. Otherwise, the default will be used. Currently, for Gate Change messages, this is 30 minutes prior to departure, meaning you will begin receiving gate alerts after boarding has begun.

The final notifications that will be migrated from ONE into ECS over the coming weeks are ETB notifications. You may already set up your preferences in ECS for notifications for these systems to ensure a seamless transition during this migration.

Should you encounter any problems with ECS or have other Feedback, open ECS, click the profile icon in the top left corner, and select Send ECS Feedback to send a message to the ECS team.
