5.30.25 – CJ Denial for Mainline Weight-Restricted Flights When Priority List Processed Out of Order

CJ Denial for Mainline Weight-Restricted Flights When Priority List Processed Out of Order

Friday, May 30, 2025

We have received reports that Flight Attendants are being denied access to the jumpseat (CJ) on weight-restricted Mainline flights because the standby list is not being cleared in the correct priority order.

If you’ve been denied a cabin jumpseat on a mainline flight due to a weight restriction and the standby list is cleared out of order, please let us know by filling out this form.

If your CJ denial caused a missed trip (TM), please indicate the number of hours lost on the form. Please supply supporting documentation, such as a screenshot of the standby list, to validate your claim and facilitate appropriate follow-up.
