A Message From Your Vice President
As your newly elected Vice President of LAX, I want to express my gratitude for your trust and support. I’m honored to serve you and committed to addressing the unique challenges we face as LAX-based flight attendants. This monthly newsletter will serve as a way to keep us connected and informed, ensuring we work together to build a stronger, more supportive base. If there’s something you’d like to see included in future newsletters, don’t hesitate to reach out to me—I’m here to listen and make sure your voices are heard.
What I Am Working On
As Vice President, I am focused on making meaningful changes to improve the LAX flight attendant experience. Here are some of the key initiatives I’m currently working on:
- Working alongside Base President John Nikides and management to gather data demonstrating the importance of returning displaced flight attendants to LAX.
- Connecting with BCRs – I’m reaching out to connect with Base Counsel  Representatives (BCRs) to ensure we’re aligned on the issues that matter most to you and to strengthen our communication and support of the base.
- Creating a Reserve Refresher Class – I’m in the process of developing a refresher class specifically designed to provide our base with the tools and resources we need to feel confident and supported when serving a reserve month.
Let’s Stay Connected
NEW: I’ve set up an LAX Suggestion Box where you can submit your thoughts anonymously. This is a space for you to share anything that’s on your mind—whether it’s feedback, ideas for improvement, or concerns you want to be addressed. I encourage you to use this tool to help us create positive change together.
Together, we will continue to push for the changes LAX flight attendants need.
