Call to Action: Sign Up to Help Secure the Contract We Deserve!

Negotiations have entered a critical phase, and Flight Attendants are ready for a contract that includes improvements to compensation, retirement, scheduling flexibility, and overall work/life balance. The Negotiating Committee will continue to call on all 26,000+ Flight Attendants to help drive the message on complex issues for management to digest. Management must see all Flight Attendants standing firmly behind your APFA Negotiating Committee.

We begin mediated talks with the assistance of the National Mediation Board this month. We want to advise all Flight Attendants that we will take all steps necessary to reach an agreement, including taking a strike vote if necessary.

Today is the day to join your fellow Flight Attendants on the Contract ACTION Team (CAT). To date, CAT Members have been busy organizing and securing permits for picketing events, conducting terminal walks to provide red lanyards, Union pins, and the latest negotiations information, and helping Members become dues current to participate in upcoming votes.

As we proceed through the negotiations process as outlined by the Railway Labor Act, there will be many ways for you to join the Contract ACTION Team, including phone banking, social media support, co-terminal and satellite base support, and more. To make sign-up more efficient, we have created a new form for you to let your leadership know where you can offer support to your Union.
