5.27.26 – CIC Out of Base UBL Pickup Focus Group Interest Form
The APFA Contract Implementation Committee (CIC) is seeking Members in good standing interested in participating in a voluntary virtual focus group regarding Out of Base UBL flying implementation and related discussions.
5.08.26 – Contract Implementation Update #61: PBS Prefer Positions Order Per Aircraft Temporarily Removed
The PBS Prefer Positions Order Per Aircraft bid property introduced during the May PBS bidding process has been temporarily removed. The new property will not appear during June PBS bidding and will be removed from standing bids
5.06.26 – Contract Implementation Update #60: Rescheduling in ECS Now in Effect
Rescheduling notifications are now live in ECS for: When a Flight Attendant experiences a disruption after report but prior to origination (CBA 10.J.3.d), Crew Scheduling has either four (4) hours after report time or three (3) hours after the disruption
5.01.26 – Contract Implementation Update #59: Rescheduling in ECS: Part 2
Starting Wednesday, May 6, 2026, if you are disrupted, you will receive an ECS notification (instead of a phone call) for the following disruptions: disruptions that occur after report but prior to origination (CBA 10.J.3.d), and disruptions that occur after origination (CBA 10.J.4.c).
4.25.26 – Contract Implementation Update #58: Rescheduling in ECS
The first Rescheduling items coming to ECS for notification are expected in May. There are no changes to Rescheduling other than how you are notified of your Reschedule. Rescheduling requirements and timelines are not changing

Building on last week’s hotline, this update provides additional examples and further clarification on the PBS property Prefer Positions Order per Aircraft. This property will be available for May bidding when PBS opens today at 12 PM (CT).
4.03.26 – Contract Implementation Update #55: Prefer Positions Order per Aircraft
After our successful mock bid, the Prefer Positions Order per Aircraft is ready for implementation just in time for Summer flying! This new property will be available for May bidding on April 10, 2026. Important: This property does not filter your sequences to only show the selected aircraft.Â
