Contract Implementation Update #32:
Hotel/ Limo Now Available in ECS

The Electronic Communication System (ECS) was updated to version 2.4 on the evening of July 22, 2025. This update introduces a new feature that allows you to contact Hotel/Limo directly through ECS for accommodation and transportation needs. Placing a call to the Hotel/Limo desk is still an option.

Your EFB will update automatically, but if you use ECS on a personal device, make sure to manually update the app to access the new messaging feature.

When should I use the Hotel/Limo option in ECS?

* Note: If you see “Booking in Progress” on Crew Portal, this is a placeholder when the system recognizes a break that may qualify for a hotel. It does not mean your hotel is actually being booked. In this situation, you should submit an ECS message to ensure your hotel is booked.

How does it work?

On the landing page of ECS, you will see Contact AA has been updated to include Hotel/Limo as an option. Once you select Contact AA, select Hotel/Limoto bring up the available options.

When submitting a message, for most options you will be able to designate if it is for yourself or the entire Flight Attendant crew. The Flight Attendant submitting the ECS message will be the only person to receive responses through ECS regarding the request.

After submitting your request, responses will go to the AA Responses and All Messages tabs in ECS. You may also receive a push notification on your EFB and/or personal device if you have selected those options in message setup. If needed, Hotel/Limo may call you, so have your phone nearby. Once the request has been processed, you will receive a completion or unsuccessful message in your ECS Inbox giving you further details.

Please continue to share any issues with ECS directly with the company by using the Feedback option by clicking your profile in the top left > Send ECS Feedback > fill out the form and submit. The messages go directly to the ECS development team.
