11.25.25 – APFA LAX Base Brief – LAX Base Vice President Newsletter: December 2025

Tuesday, November 25, 2025

The holiday season is in full swing and your LAX APFA Leadership Team could not be more proud of the hard work and dedication of this base and the FAs we represent. We are working together to show AA management that LAX is a vital base to the operation and should be considered and treated as such. It is important that we do not lose faith or become discouraged because in these rocky times for our airline, we must rely, support and lean on each other. Empower yourself with knowledge and continue asking questions. Standup for what is right and do not allow the company to bully you into violating our hardfought for contract. Rely on its protections! The holidays can be a tough time in the operation and at home. Remember, everyone has a story and so do you. Be kind, gentle and forgiving to yourself and those around you. Your APFA LAX Leadership Team is here for you!

- AA Management knows its Flight Attendants are a workgroup it can rely on to “make it work.” We are fighting back on AA’s over dependance on its FAs and not relying on its own management team to get the job done.
- Advocating for fairness by challenging the company’s increasingly punitive and unrealistic disciplinary actions. We are seeing another rise in blaming the FAs when AA’s systems are not reliable. It’s disheartening to see the lack of accountability and the eagerness to blame the FAs for AA’s shortcomings.
- A major improvement we gained in our hard fought for CBA is transparency. That is why we put together a Reserve Reports Class to help you empower yourself with knowledge. Find the recording HERE!
