Updated APFA Negotiations Webpage Now Live
As reported in our June 18, 2021, hotline announcing the resumption of negotiations, we are approaching negotiations differently by providing you more information and transparency about what is happening at the bargaining table, including more detail on what the Union and Management are proposing.
We are excited to announce the launch of APFA’s updated Negotiations page hub, found within APFA.org. This page will serve as your primary source of truth and will be updated throughout the negotiations process. Here, you will find various resources including:
- Negotiations Hotlines
- A line-by-line status tracker, which assigns each section one of the following statuses:
- Open (currently being negotiated)
- Tabled (tabled for more discussion later in negotiations)
- Tentative Agreement
- Not Open
- Information on joining the Contract ACTION team.
- Videos and terminology to help understand the Section 6 negotiations process.
How to Best View the Negotiations Status Page
Most Flight Attendants use their mobile devices when accessing the APFA website, which is why we have adopted a mobile-first approach to provide you with an efficient and informative platform. If you use a mobile device to view the page, it is best viewed horizontally on mobile devices, allowing you to compare APFA and management proposals for each section (pictured below).
We hope you will find these updated pages useful. Please be sure to check the negotiations status page frequently to stay up-to-date with current proposals.
In Solidarity,
Your APFA Negotiating Committee
