The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it has delayed full enforcement of the Real ID. It was supposed to go into effect on May 3, 2023. Full enforcement will now take effect on May 7, 2025.

After years of delays, APFA received word that the Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) legislation, which increases Flight Attendant FAR rest from eight hours minimum rest hours to ten hours, will be implemented in early 2023.

In the International Section, the Company is proposing to be able to reduce IPD rest down to ten hours in actual operations.
