Utilizing APFA EAP Professional Standards
Saturday, February 10, 2024
During your sequence, if you are in a confrontation with a fellow Flight Attendant or Pilot that you cannot resolve, we strongly advise against directly contacting the company. Instead, consider the following steps:
What can you do?
If you have concerns or differences with a pilot, the Allied Pilots Association (APA) offers a valuable resource through its Professional Standards Committee. Like our APFA Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Professional Standards, this committee is committed to addressing concerns regarding Pilots and Flight Attendants without company involvement. If a Flight Attendant brings a concern(s) to APFA EAP -Professional Standards, our trained APFA EAP -Professional Standards peer representatives will collaborate with APA Professional Standards to address the issue. Should a Pilot have a concern or issue about a Flight Attendant, the Pilot will report to their APA Professional Standards, and they will collaborate with APFA EAP-Professional Standards to address their issue.
