On Tuesday, March 7th, your APFA Negotiating Committee presented an economic proposal to the company. Our comprehensive economic proposal includes all remaining sections of the agreement including Compensation, Expenses, Vacation, Sick Leave, Insurance, Retirement, Other Benefits, Training, and Profit Sharing
We bargained with the Company in January and February. During these sessions, the company and APFA exchanged updated proposals on Section 10- Scheduling and Section 12– Reserve.
Today, APFA filed for federal mediation in our contract talks. As we previously discussed, federal mediation is part of the process for reaching an agreement under the Railway Labor Act.

We are entering a critical period of our bargaining for a new contract. We have bargained over all the non-economic sections of the agreement and will soon pass our economic proposals across the table.
