Storms are affecting the DFW area, with ramp closures and diversions possible throughout the day. As a reminder, below are the rescheduling provisions from the CBA. Additionally, there is an IROPS form on the APFA website

4.30.25 – 1Q 2025 APFA Executive Committee Meeting Tentative Agenda

The regularly scheduled APFA First Quarter 2025 Executive Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at APFA Headquarters. In accordance with APFA Policy Manual 4.A.1.a.(1), the Tentative Agenda for this meeting is now available

4.30.25 – Contract Implementation Update #23: New Domestic Boarding Times Effective May 1

On May 1, 2025, the Company will exercise the option in CBA Section 11.M. to extend all domestic boarding times by five (5) minutes. This includes the contiguous forty-eight states, Canada, and Alaska.

As evidenced by today’s dismal first quarter 2025 financial results, American Airlines lags significantly behind its competitors. This disparity raises concerns about our airline’s long-term competitiveness and the current management decision-making.

4.18.25 – Coverage Needed (CN) Dates – May 2025

Coverage Needed (CN) is a term applied to any day in a bid month when not enough Flight Attendants bid in PBS to fly on that day. PBS will award as many Flight Attendants as possible to be off on a particular day.

4.14.25 – Contract Implementation Update #22: ECS (Electronic Communication System)

It’s time to register for ECS (Electronic Communication System). This is a new two-way communication system between flight attendants and Crew Scheduling, Crew Tracking and Hotel/Limo Desk. Later this year, this will be the system implementing CBA Section 10.W.

4.12.25 – 2025-2026 CQ Module Length Documentation Form

Flight Attendants who have started their 2025-2026 CQ web-based training modules are reporting that the time required to complete the training exceeds the contractual limit.
