2.17.25 – Endeavor Air/ Delta Connection Flight 4819

Earlier today, Endeavor Air/ Delta Connection Flight 4819 was involved in an incident upon landing in Toronto. There were no fatalities, and the AFA-CWA represented Flight Attendants successfully evacuated all 80 passengers.

We are pleased to announce the early implementation of CBA section 11.G on February 20th, 2025. This provision had a targeted date of DOS + 6 months (April 2025). This improves Reserve quality of life when receiving an assignment while on Standby.

The Primary Round of Vacation Bidding will close on Wednesday, February 26 at 12:00 PM (CT). Primary Round awards will be posted no later than Monday, March 3 at 1200 PM (CT).

Ballot packages for the 2025 Base Representative Elections were mailed today, February 12, 2025, to members based in CLT, DCA, DFW, LAX, LGA, MIA, PHL, and PHX as of March 2025.

2.10.25 – APFA Spring 2025 EAP Peer Committee Representative Recruitment

Do you like helping others? Are you a good listener? The APFA Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is looking for Flight Attendants to join the APFA EAP Peer Committee to provide support and assistance to Flight Attendants at each crew base.

2.08.25 – PSA 5342: Services for PSA Captain Jonathan Campos

We continue to grieve those lost on PSA/ American Eagle Flight 5342. We will pass along information honoring the crew as it becomes available. Services for PSA/ American Eagle Flight 5342 Captain Jonathan Campos will be held early next week in Brooklyn, NY.

2.05.25 – 2025 Base Representative Election Opens Next Week

Ballots for the 2025 Base Representative Elections will be mailed out next Wednesday, February 12, 2025, to members based in: CLT, DCA, DFW, LAX, LGA, MIA, PHL, and PHX at the addresses on file with APFA as of January 28, 2025.

2.05.25 – Contract Implementation Update #13: February 5, 2025

Starting with Reserve sequences that carryover from the January contractual month into the February month, clicks will now apply to the month in which a Reserve flies.

2.05.25 – PSA 5342 Update: Donations, Services for Ian and Danasia

APFA remains committed to supporting those impacted by the crash of PSA/American Eagle Flight 5342. All funds donated this week to AFA’s Disaster Relief Fund will go to Ian and Danasia’s families.

1.29.25 – American Eagle Flight 5342 Collides with Helicopter at DCA

At approximately 9:00pm ET, American Eagle Flight 5342, operated by PSA Airlines, was reportedly involved in a collision with a helicopter while landing at Washington National Airport. The flight originated from Wichita, Kansas.
